The Wienbarg Stud
Be and Anneke Blaak in Erm
When we first met Ms. Yvonne van Peski around 1985, who was already elderly at that time, she lived near Epe in the beautiful Veluwe area. There, she bred Arab Thoroughbreds. We were fascinated instantly and bought our first mare Sirocco Soljanka from her.
Before this, we bred larger Warm-blood Jumping and Dressage horses. In the busiest times of our commercial life, we had a considerable number of horses, mares as well as studs. Thus, our equestrian hobby was demanding a lot of attention. In addition to our equestrian hobby, our family business also grew and we decided to scale our hobby down. We started to concentrate on breeding Arab Thoroughbreds from then. After some time, we built a beautiful yard with six new luxury stables in our grounds. Up to this day, this is where we have enjoyed breeding Arab Thoroughbreds.
Our hobby has grown into a true passion. Our breeding interest goes out to Egyptian and Egyptian - Polish. This has resulted in especially fine offspring. To make sure our hobby does not get out of hand, we sell Arab Thoroughbreds, foals, 1 and 2-year olds and saddle-broken horses regularly.
Currently, our mares are served by the studs that we select very carefully. For this, we regularly visit shows home and abroad. We assess these stallions for qualities that will improve our breeding.
In addition, we also take our horses to national and international shows regularly, where we achieve fine and even excellent results. Please take a look at our show results.
